"As a speaker and talk show host, my desire with Speak

on various political and social issues that can ultimately enlighten
and empower them to make a positive change in their family,
community, nation and world!"
BIOGRAPHY
Joshua Fredenburg, a professional
speaker, talk show host, author, president, and voice of Generations
X and Y began impacting the lives of emerging leaders nationally
through dynamic speeches, thoughtful advice, and creative media
events in May of 2002 when he was chosen as the graduate speaker
for his graduating class at the California State University
of Long Beach. Just five years later at the age of 26,
he has shared enriching messages with over 1.2 million people.
“I have a desire to set an example for my generation –
building a positive image so we can take this country where
it needs to go,” stated Fredenburg. Energetic and passionate,
he presents a clear leadership vision and path to all audiences,
inspiring them to action.
In 2004, Joshua completed his first book entitled, “Vision,
the Answer to Generations X and Y”. He then
began his speaking mission towards developing 21st Century leaders
with a vision to make a positive impact in their community,
nation, and world at an FBLA (Future Business Leaders of
America) conference in Chicago, Illinois. Following
this exciting conference, a high school girl emailed Joshua
to tell him how his speech on leadership motivated her to believe
that she will make a positive impact in the world one day.
This encouraging statement further fueled Joshua’s
passion to equip more people to make a positive impact.
In 2005, with one year of professional speaking
under his belt, Joshua found himself at a statewide community
college leadership conference in San Jose, California delivering
his empowering message on Vision. After this enlightening
and dynamic speech, a tearful young woman in her early twenties
approached him and shared her story of how his message helped
her not only discover a vision for her life, but helped her
see things more clearly. This was a powerful
moment in Joshua’s speaking career because his ultimate
purpose as a speaker is not only to educate and empower, but
to help people discover their destiny and purpose in life so
that they can go out and make a positive impact in what they
were purposed to do.
In the beginning of 2006, Joshua found himself
giving insight to a collegiate leadership audience at the Southwestern
Black Student Leadership Conference on how to find the right
partner in a relationship. During the enlightening message
on relationships, he stated that, “Every time
I seem to give this presentation, someone ends up getting married
a year later.” Precisely, three months
later, a young man who recently proposed sent him an email from
Texas explaining that he was the one that was talked about in
the presentation. This excited Joshua because
one of his greatest passions as a speaker and husband is to
help people find the right partner in a relationship and build
up strong families that can have lasting affects on future generations.
With an average speaking rating of over 90%
from all of his audiences throughout the country, Joshua continues
to be ecstatic and honored with the opportunity to not only
speak to this next generation of leaders, but actually see and
hear about how their lives have been changed in a great way.
In addition to speaking to various audiences
throughout the country, Joshua has also hosted and produced
an award winning show for this younger generation that has made
a great impact in several people’s lives. For instance,
at the beginning of 2006, a young woman who moved to Los Angeles
from Dallas was so impacted by the show that she not only called
to comment, but desired to be a part of the show as well.
Now, she not only speaks her mind on various issues discussed
on the show, but she is living her dream of being part of a
show that is truly having an impact on this younger generation!
This excites Joshua as well because he is not only
changing lives through television, but he his building up others
leaders around him with the same vision.
Joshua will be the first to tell you that success
and accomplishing your purpose in life is not an overnight thing,
but rather a process that never stops. Over the past five
years of his journey, he has empowered and impacted students
at the FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) National
Fall Conferences, the Monster Diversity Leadership Conferences,
the Southwestern Black Student Leadership Conference, the SACE
(Southeastern Association of College Employers Conference)
Conference, the California State University of
Fullerton Leadership Conference, the Brown Bag Lecture Series
in Seattle, Washington, and many others across the country.
In the field of television, Joshua has interviewed the likes
of Jay Leno, The Roc, Mos Def, and many other celebrities on
the red carpet of the NAACP Image Awards and People’s
Choice Awards. He has also worked as a production assistant
for the Oprah Winfrey Show, the View in LA,
BET Tonight with Tavis Smiley, The Ananda Lewis
Show, and the 44th Annual Grammy Awards.
His motto as a speaker, television personality,
and author is transforming and inspiring lives through dynamic
keynotes, excellent advice, and creative media events that empower
and change lives. Once you have Joshua speak to your audience,
you can rest assure that it will be a live changing moment!
